What is DT Heart & Soul?

DT Heart & Soul (DTHS) is an online matching service for singles who are members of the International Churches of Christ. In order to communicate with other singles on the platform, each single must be recommended by a leader in their local congregation as an active member who is generally well regarded and has a positive reputation.

DTHS does not assign matches; instead, members define an age range, and the service presents all active members of the opposite sex whose age ranges intersect.

Why Should I Consider DTHS To Support My Singles Ministry?

Respond to Singles Who Request Recommendation

You are crucial to the safety of DT Heart & Soul! The DTHS community relies upon the engagement and good judgment of each member’s ministry leader.

Support Singles Who Meet on DTHS

When one of your singles meets a potential mate on DTHS, they need you and other friends in their lives as much or even more than they would for relationships originating from another source.

DTHS is not a separate singles ministry, and does not replace strong spiritual friendships and coaching relationships. If anything, such support is even more important due to the increased challenges associated with long-distance and cross-cultural relationships characterized by many DTHS connections.

Keeping the leadership and church data current is an ongoing challenge. The Church Locator functions as our primary source of truth for churches in our fellowship, and we often reach out the the administrative contacts listed there, in order to authenticate leaders nominated by singles.

If you are a leadership contact known to DTHS or to DisciplesToday, feel free to send leadership updates our way (name, email, and church). It greatly enhances the accessibility of DTHS to singles, since they cannot join unless one of you recommends them. They really appreciate up-to-date leader info, and we do too!
